Taiyo Yuden Watershield CD-R and DVD-R features the same qualities as the original Taiyo Yuden media. Both types of media are fully hub printable. The quality and output of this disc is unbelievable. Once printed the surface is completely smooth and has a glass / gloss look to it. The media comes packaged in a 50 spindle/cakebox.

If one of your goals is to achieve a professional looking disc, then this media is what your looking for ! The print quality is like no other. Once printed the disc is very smooth and glossy, it almost looks like its still wet. Also this disc has a dry time of ZERO. When its done printing its dry. Now they call it watershield because of its water resistance. Unlike other inkjet printable disc’s these will not smudge or smear when handled with wet or sweaty fingers. I must say that besides them being the best looking disc, they are manufactured by Taiyo Yuden. They are compatible with just about any player on the market.
