    Thanks!
About the fan, at that time I used the cpu original fan. It was enough to keep it at 3.67Ghz at a reasonable temps! But since I wanted to push the limits, I got a low profile cpu I guess it’s by Samurai! I didn’t even cost $20. If you are reasonable in over clocking and usage, then you really don’t need such an expensive or massive cooler. That’s for die hard core OC clockers! I don’t use any heavy apps, so I keep it moderate, but faster than default settings ; )

XD Awesome rig dude! What fan are you using for OC?

For those wondering about nvidia 9500 gt… works pretty much from a custom install in osx86 tools. (no kexts needed). just go to install video card, custom, type “nVidia GeForce 9500 GT”, ram “512mb” (in my card), last choose your output set up, in my case dvi to vga. Make sure gl/ quartz is “on” from inside osx86 tools… restart and enjoy the effects!!

nice video. I have a hackintosh too. gigabyte g31, 4gb ddr2-800, 320sata all works fine, but I need a good video card like your nvidia 9500gt because Im only have g3100 graphics video on board and I dont have QE and hardware acceleration :(

  • Techlur says:

  • hananiasq says:

    Yes w7 under vmware!

  • hananiasq says:

depends what you need. Ethernet, sound, graphics?? etc.
I can tell you quickly that the graphics are not supported, so you’ll need graphics card (nvidia geforce seems to be well supported)! the sound kext is in the install set up. (Azalia something like that). ethernet, search in the insanelymac forums for the ‘AttansicL1EEthernet’ kext, that’ll get you internet! hope that is a start.
