Hey Stellarola! Yes you’re absolutely right. I realized that after uploading the video. Thanks for pointing it out. It is definitely an issue with booting up the system, not power management.

you don’t have to use the boot up disk every time you turn the computer on do you? that would really suck.

If you watch through all the parts of the video, you’ll see how to install the boot loader onto your hard disk, so that you will never need the boot loader CD again… unless you reinstall or have trouble. Download and use OSx86 Tools for a simple, graphical installation of the EFI boot loader

Thanks for the awesome tutorial!!!! I was just about to download one of those illegal hackintosh ‘distors’, but my friend has a genuine Mac OS X DVD I will borrow off him. Once again; THANKS!!!!!

BTW, I have the Asus P5K SE motherboard, similiar to your Asus P5K V motherboard.

what do I do if my internet on mac os is going very slowly compared to XP which is real quick??

Sounds like you’re running into trouble. Try looking up how to install the kexts for your ethernet chipset, and then reinstall them. Try a variety of things. Once you find what works, you may need to reinstall and use what works to avoid all the other failed attempts you made that may cause conflicts later.

When u put the bootloader disk back in after it says it failed, do you shut the computer off when you open the drive first? or put it in while the computer is on.

at registration info you can skip that screen just do command (aka windows key) + Q.

Hey man, that’s awesome. Didn’t know that. I’ll keep it in mind . I love the internet. I remember back before the internet, the only way to get info was to talk to someone who knew, buy a book, or just play around endlessly in front of a command prompt. Collective knowledge is a good thing.
