You can record one with up to 6 tracks running at the same time. I figured out garageband on such hardware is a modern 4-tracks audio recorder. Back to the roots ! It could be even better if Apple optimized OS X and ilife for an Apple netbook… In the end, garageband was recording grand piano ( software instrument ) with 6 other tracks — Aurora Bell + Big electric Lead Guitar as software instruments, 4 more tracks made of Apple Loops provided with the application. That’s not bad at all !
